His name is Kunxun, the first police dog cloned in the history of China.

Kunxun is a police dog from Yunnan province, where Kunmíng wolfdogs originate.

According to China Daily, kunxun's DNA is 99% identical to that of the original dog, which was a female wolf dog named Huahuangma, a police dog famous for her sleuthing ability.

This wolf dog is famous for helping the police solve 12 murder cases and collaborating in more than 20 criminal cases, in 2016 she won the merit award for top dogs.

Kunxun was cloned from a few millimeters of Huahuangma skin samples.

Kunxun was born in December 2018 at an experimental technology base in Beijing. The agricultural university is starting to clone the best dogs and thus reduce training time.

Kunxun's training has already begun and he is expected to graduate from police dog school by the time he is 10 months old and show his full potential.
