This week 6 gray wolves were born in Mexico at the Chapultepec Zoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Mexican gray wolf is considered a species that is \"probably extinct in the wild\".<\/p>\nSource: Sedema<\/a><\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Due to their endangered status, there is a cooperative program between the United States and Mexico to reproduce the species and release them into the wild when the time comes.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Secretary of the Environment of Mexico City, informed through its twitter account of the birth of the cubs, where they also published photos of the newborns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
