The remains of a giant wolf dog and a mammoth were found in San Francisco Totimehuacán, in the municipality of Puebla.

Remains of mammoth, camel, a giant wolf dog and other items such as spears were discovered on the side of the hill of Chiquihuitepec in the municipality of Puebla, apparently dating back more than 10,000 years.

The articles and remains found correspond to the Pleistocene epoch, belonging to the Quaternary period of the Cenozoic era,

This is the first time there is evidence of the existence of giant wolf dogs in the area of Mexico.
